14-7 Cats in the 2nd. Keola Antonin making a name for himself with 2 TDs after a Grigsby fumble. Grigsby looks pissed on the sidelines.

24-21...just forced 3 and out. With Thomas back in, it should spread the defense a bit more.

Stoops is an idiot. Their last three series they've basically just taken a knee. Why is Smith in the game instead of Antolin?

Our pass coverage has been good all game, but it seems like our rushers cant bring down the QB

The Cats are acting like they are ahead by 4 TD's. It's only a two-score game. Not smart.

On that last 4th down, Tui could have easily run for the 1st, but he went for the long bomb to Gronk. Dumb.

Also, I wonder what this means for the future of Nic Grigsby.

Nic will start next week. He is too talented. Stoops was sending him a message that if he turns the ball over, he won't play. The Cats need Grigsby next week.

Perhaps, but having a bulldozer back like Antonin might compliment Nic in the backfield against USC.

Also, congrats to Tuitama for breaking multiple UofA QB records.

Stoops did this to Nic last year. Antolin is a nice backup right now and he definitely has confidence but they will need Nic's speed next week. The Cats are going to have to really spread the offense to have a shot at USC.

Wow. Simply stunning. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Way to go, Cats.

Imagine what might have been without that late 4th quarter brain freeze at Stanford? Good for Stoops.

Thank gawd somebody in the PAC-10 other than USC is showing upside.

I wouldnt call Antolin a bulldozer back. He is as fast as any player on the team, but he runs hard, makes one move and lowers his shoulder like a RB should. Nic starts next week, but splitting carries is a must as USc has had problems with quick RBs like Nic and Keola.

Wow, definitely didn't see that one coming at halftime. I was at the game and everyone was pretty deflated. Nice comeback and impressive win over a solid team. And I'll also add how impressed I am with the young talent on offense.

Cal has a weird QB situation this year I have the utmost respect for Tedford but I think he's completely misjudging the situation. the problem is not at QB it's at WR, they lost their top 3 WR's and the guys they have now are just not as good and nowhere near as polished. What they're seeing is QB's throwing to spots and the WR not being there. First game that Longshore played he had 2 balls like that, one was picked the other the DB dropped it. After the game Tedford even said both of those the WR ran the wrong route.

It happened with Riley too, in the MD game he threw a pick for a TD that was the wrong route run.

So I'm not surprised he benched Nate during the game and went back to Riley and I'm even less surprised it made no difference. Until the WR's are on the same page with the QB's they're going to struggle throwing the ball.

no idea on the defense they started out looking pretty good but the MD game exposed them.

I expect they'll beat UCLA rather easily.

Good win for the Cats. I hoped they would get one win between the CAL and USC games. IMO they have nothing to lose against USC this week. GO CATS!
