Update on Boldin Injury NOT GOOD

Bad news concerns Arizona WR Anquan Boldin. We'll know more
tomorrow after the MRI results are in but the early word is the team
fears he's torn the meniscus in his right knee.

After the game, coach Dennis Green said, "I hope it's not a bad tear."

Boldin said he had been bothered by his knee all week, and that it
"really hurt" Sunday.

He did sound a little more optimistic: "I think I'm OK. Hopefully,
it's just a sprain," Boldin said. "But it's bothering me to the point
where I'm thinking about it when I play. For me, it's tough because
I've been there before." It's worth noting that players are almost
always optimistic regarding their own injuries.

Boldin missed six games last year with a similar injury. Again, we
don't know yet how severe the injury is so stay tuned on this one.

Heh, the losses are to be expected, the bandwagon is falling apart, and apathy reigns supreme. Yep, we're around 6-7 games in, so right on time...

I dunno how you can give a QB huge $ that looks like a set of bad knees waiting to happen.

He's awful bulky as you have pointed out, knees can only take so much and if we sell the farm to get him and he goes down ala Boldin, the we are screwed in so many ways it's not funny.

I just said in another forum that we probably should take Leinart, I've worked out the logic and it goes like this.

Par for the course says we will do the wrong thing, I believe that DG will never draft a QB in a pivotal contract, I gotta win now, year. Therefore he will talk us into Culpepper who will shortly thereafter visit that famous Knee Surgeon in Colorado.

I have seen the future, we won't take Leinhart and that means we should.

At least I settled that for myself.
