I am torn on this. Apparently it means they cut off all the new stuff that intrigued me. Gone will be DRM, switching games flawlessly. Setting up online games and while waiting for people to join playing another game and etc. Sounds like no more family sharing which was my favorite feature of all. To have two xbox's in one house both playing the same disc even though you only bought one copy would be sweet. Beyond that, my brother could buy one game and I buy another and we would both have both games.
Also were rumors to go like steam and have an online marketplace to sell drm back and forth and make games very cheap / allow developers to make money off of used sales.
A lot of stuff just went out the window due to people not wanting change but it worked great with music and I thought microsoft had a great idea. Hopefully they still add in some of it or maybe give you the option or something.
There still will be day one digital downloads so no more pre ordering and going to gamestop at midnight but all online buys are usually full price and once years old cost much more than buying at gamestop.
