The 2025 NFL draft is just under a month away. The Arizona Cardinals have the 16th pick in the draft and the belief is that they will most likely select either an edge defender or an interior defensive lineman. They have upgraded at both positions in free agency, but that doesn't mean they are done.

So as the draft approaches, Cardinals fans will pay special attention to the defensive linemen and edge guys.

Draft Wire's Curt Popejoy updated his defensive prospect rankings recently.

Who are his top five defensive tackles?

  1. Mason Graham - Michigan
  2. Kenneth Grant - Michigan
  3. Walter Nolen - Ole Miss
  4. Derrick Harmon - Oregon
  5. Darius Alexander - Toledo

Graham is viewed as a top-five pick in the draft. Grant, Nolen and Harmon have all been mocked to the Cardinals with the 16th pick and are projected to go anywhere from the middle of the first round to the second round.

Alexander is the one on this list not really projected to be a first-round selection.

If the Cardinals do take a defensive lineman in the first round, it would be the second straight year they do, as they drafted Darius Robinson in the first round last year.
