What number do we pick in the 2nd and 3rd round?

I believe we go 10-1st,9th pick of the second,8th of the third.

Early Mock drafts are a riot. I've seen at least 10 different players projected as going to the Cards with the 10th pick in the first round.

After all we've been through as fans of the Cardinals the NFL should let us have 10 consecutive first round picks. Then MAYBE we'd have the depth to compete with the rest of the NFL.

0-3 the last two seasons against opponents with the #1 selection in the following draft. My lord that's awful.

Lost two to the 49ers in 2004 and one to the Texans in '05.:thud:

BTW: I saw posted on another board that the Cards had one of if not the easiest schedule in the NFL in 2005. Yet 7 of our 16 games were against playoff teams. Seattle(2),Giants,Redskins,Panthers,Jaguars,and Colts. I guess 49ers(2),Texans,Lions, and Rams (2) were pitiful enough to offset that.

Where did you find that? I looked at a bunch of draft sites and none had that list.

All of the mocks have us with the 10th then 42nd pick. I had thought we went #8 in round 2 but after seeing everyone list us at 42 thought I was mistaken.

My day 1 fantasy, everything goes right for us scenerio.

1 - D'Brickashaw Ferguson, Va.

2 - Ko Simpson, S. Carolina S

3 - Charlie Whitehurst, Clemson

That's a lot of what-ifs breaking in or favor of course.

Where is Ferguson going to play? He won't play LT on this team and he's never played RT that I've heard of. At under 300 lbs he isn't big enough to play OG and again its another spot he probably has never played.

We need a RT not a LT, Davis despite his false starts and displays of lack of discipline is going to remain starting at LT. It looks like we can get a good RT in round 2 in this draft.

Navy Mike is 100% correct. Our record is tied with Buffalo and Detriot.....we get #10 in round one (Buffalo get #8 and Detroit #9). The order is reversed with the teams we were tied with in rounds 2 and then 3.

Not sure, I just feel like he's the closest thing to a sure thing among the top 10 (kiss of death.)

I'm on the D'Brick bandwagon. But the only way he is on this team is if Davis moves to guard. Which I don't think is going to happen.
