Funny they showed the one block that I have seen from him that was good.

Not sure if I am ready to say he has improved yet.

Still hasn't shown anything to earn the hype he gets.

The rest of the article is just saying what has been discussed here, King, and Sperry are unknowns because of injury, Dray looks solid, and DC Jefferson is not NFL talent....at least not at this point.

A agree Mulli. But I've always thought that he is the most uniformed of our lo cal people he cover the team. For a guy who is supposed to be close to the team

That's a good block? Looks like Housler whiffed again and the defender just overran the play.

One thing about Arians is that you can't bank on anything he says for long. He can do a 180 faster than any coach I've ever seen. He apparently knows how to play a little poker. I wouldn't be surprised to see Housler and King cut and two new guys added by the start of the season.

Darren U's "articles" have less and less news...

Agree. He was great with the EVT but since the Cards now cut his paycheck he has little to offer other than his typical responses on his twitter. Too early to tell. `We'll just have to wait and see. Haven't heard anything. Somers isn't much better. That's why we have to look to Sando for real reporting on the Arizona Cardinals. The locals are just too laid back and what they write is very bland.

But then covering a team that goes 5-11 every year would probably take the starch out of any reporter after a while.

By the way is the local media as indifferent/easy on the Diamondbacks?

I could not disagree more. If you have an Arizona Republic Subscription, their online site has a daily 20 minute video wrap up of each day of training camp hosted by Somers and Paula B.

Absolutely great coverage, just not free.

I read that stuff all the time as well. And compare it to the coverage of the Cowboys and Texans we get locally. And I stand by my statement that it is very bland coverage.

Completely disagree on DC Jefferson. I think he will be our best TE by next year. He has all the physical tools, just needs time to refine them.

I am glad BA is so confident in Housler's ability as a receiver. The guy needs to be catching passes in these preseason games. He needs work....

king maybe but Housler will stay it seems. He is servicable at the minimum. There isnt a lot out there as far as TE goes.

Does anyone know what people have to pay (PAY!) for the AZ Repub online subscription?

One of our tight ends is not currently on this team. We will definitely pluck one off the waiver wire.

King is servicable if healthy.
Housler is one dimensional
Dray...The guys been here for what seems to be 5 years and has he ever caught a pass in a real game.
Shuler...don't think so.

Knowing how important the TE position is to Arians, I would not be suprised to se a trade for one of our DB's or WR's.

I highly doubt we get anything for one of our WR's (excluding the top 3 of course). A bunch of UDFA's who haven't done anything in the NFL, plus BASK went to the WW to bring in a WR so again I would be shocked if we get anything from the WR group.

I agree about the CB's.

Read? It is a 20 minute video blog that details everything happening in camp for the day and includes video of the field play.

It is free with a Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday subscription to the paper.

Ironically I only read the digital content now, especially since it includes all the video upgrades. Wendy likes the coupons in the paper though.

Read, Watch, you're nit picking. Propaganda pieces mostly. We don't get any real reporting until well after the fact.
