Clark Haggans
Bertrand Berry
Ralph Brown
Monty Beisel

All names that I would not mind seeing come back.

Now lets get some extensions done for Wilson, Dansby and Q

Bummer...

We need at least two RB's if Edge is to be released. I can understand one in draft, what about the 2nd one?

Weak pass rushing is further weakend by the loss of Antonio Smith. We needed an upgrade...

No way. Three more (new FAs) minimum. There will be some roster shuffling...and Urban did say that some players currently on the roster may not still be on the roster by TC.

St Pierre can be a RB in the Wildcat, a gunner on special teams, and a stand up pass rusher.

We don't need anymore free agents. :D

Too bad we already signed a long snapper. I hear he can do that too.

UDFA for the 2nd RB? June 1st cuts? Play Boldin at RB more? There really aren't any exciting backs out there in my opinion. Better hope Hightower progresses fast.

Is there such a thing as June 1st cuts anymore?

I kinda had a feeling the Cards were done in FA with the exception of some vet minimum contracts for training camp so I can't say it comes as a surprise.

Brady was a 6th rounder.

I really want to get Ralph Brown back. He was the unsung hero of the postseason.

The only back in FA that I would consider is Warrick Dunn. I would like the Cardinals to try to get Derrick Brooks. At least make an attempt to sign him.

he is a 4-3 MLB his entire career -- played football in Florida since college

again -- i am not sure he is a fit, and I am not sure he is moving across the country for a vet minimum contract

From his latest update:

And as I speculated earlier, free agency will likely slow now – defensive lineman Mike Wright, the Cards’ other “main” free agent visit after cornerback Bryant McFadden, is no longer a target of the team.

The key per Urban's report is resigning their own free agents: Berry, Haggans & Ralph Brown. I agree with this. Keep the players that helped get us to the Super Bowl as long as the price is reasonable.

Did Wright price himself out of our plans? What gives, I need more info.

FYI Derrick Brooks has been the 4-3 OLB his entire career, MLB was manned by Ruud last year, and a bunch of journeyman types for Tampa the past 8 years or so. One of the greatest OLBs of all time, his MVP season was awesome, I still remember it well, what a BA back in the day.

Man, we end up with McFadden and Leach, lose JJ and Antonio, re-sign Kurt, haven't done anything with Q, AW, Dansby (long term), or Dockett and we are done, money doesn't add up. I thought we would have had enough to sign another couple of minor FA's like Kendall Simmons (who seems to have really fallen off the last coule of years and is listed as the 4 best OG in FA according to Scout.com) and a guy like Melvin Fowler who I feel has the size and nasty streak to be a productive guy with Grimm's mentoring. If Wright priced himself out of the Cardinals range I wonder what the price was because he can't be demanding too much or shouldn't be for that matter.

Once Dansby, Wilson, Clark Haggans ,Bertrand Berry ,Ralph Brown ,Monty Beisel
and possibly, remotely possibly, Boldin the cash is pretty much gone. If they release Edge then cash will free up...

They need to sign Karlos to a long term deal which will lower his cap hit and restructure Chike, and then have plenty to sign all our FAs.

Okeafor and Edge count 9 mil, and you could probably knock 3 or 4 off of Dansby's with a long term deal if you want to. I'd bring in at least one RB; Dunn or Tatum Bell?? and try to get a LB or two. I still say Dansby may move outside to pair up with a draft pick, which means we could grab an ILB or OLB.

I think we are taking a big risk if we are going with just Hightower, a draftee, and an UDFA... or is the team not planning to release Edge??? Hightower clearly struggled and is not a proven thing yet.
