He's currently not on the 25-man roster.....

Is either Luis Vizcaino or Jon Papelbon availabe in your league? Vizcaino could benefit your team in the holds category (if your league includes that) and Papelbon has suddenly emerged as the Red Sox closer, but I am certain someone either drafted or have since claimed him off waivers... I'll think of other suggestions if those players are already taken....

Thanks. In this league, anybody can buy or sell players. We have a salary cap and only get 3 pitching and 3 position player moves each week. Player values fluctuate according to their performances. I'm having a blast.

One 3B of intrigue might be the Tigers Brandon Inge... I'm trying to think of terms of those who arent already taken.... He's been starting to put up some pretty much power numbers and has established himself as a decent spray hitter.... Then.. there's Ty Wigginton and Garrett Atkins (but I wouldnt figure him being available in any league right now regardless of how deep it is because his stats will get inflated at Coors Field)....

If Vizcaino doesnt perform satisfactory, then I would check into the availability of Rafael Soriano, Ricardo Rincon (dont allow his high era mislead you, he'll get several hold chances and such in St. Louis) and (cant turn this bold off, so please ignore it) Scott Shields of the Angels will get you some saves along with those holds...

The quality closers that might be still there is the Oriole's Chris Ray, Ambiorix Burgos of the Royals, and Bobby Jenks of the White Sox...


Is there a point value assigned to each categories? How much does the hold category factor in? Because Vizcaino should earn many here w/the Dbacks bullpen for sure...otherwise.. Scott Shields is another reliever I would keep tabs on...
