USA 3 Russia 0 after 1 period

Not sure where else to put this, but the USA is beating Russia 3-0 after the first period in their final prelim game to see who wins Group A. If the USA wins this game they go through the prelim round undefeated and untied and finishes 1st in their group and getting a much better match up in the medal round.

The USA hasn't won many medals in the WCJs and never has won the Gold, but could this be the year???

Yeah, I thnk that comeback against Sweden is going to give them some serious momentum. It's 4-1 now. We're 3-7 on the power play. Parise continues to dominate. Bring on Canada!

4-1 final. It sounds like the refs were horrible. 25 combined penalties!

Maybe what was horrible was the discipline of the teams. USA/Russia hockey goes back and includes more then just the game.

I would rather have the ref call a penalty when a player does something wrong instead of ignoring it because the infraction did not involve the puck.
