The NCAA Tournament begins this week as March Madness fever reaches insanely high levels for college basketball fans around the nation. Selection Sunday gave us the full field of 68 schools that will compete for the men's college basketball national championship this season, which means it is time to fill out the brackets and cast our best predictions.
USA TODAY Sports was on top of the topic with five of their top hoops writers submitting their expert picks for the Big Dance. All four of the top seeds are well represented in the predictions, including the Florida Gators, with several different outcomes foreseen by the group.
Only Eddie Timanus picked the Orange and Blue to win it all, while two others — Jordan Mendoza and Dan Wolken — expect to see the Gators in the championship game. Paul Myerberg omitted Todd Golden's team completely from his projected Final Four, instead favoring the second-seeded St. John's Red Storm to prevail in the West Region.
Below is a look at how all five of the respondents cast their ballots ahead of the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
