Hall of Famer
These four might (initially) get less than USC and UCLA.

You clearly don't understand the definition of elite.
If you think U of A is in the same tier as the other NCAA bluebloods as a "top 13 program", that is somewhere beyond hilarious.
Elite is Duke/Kentucky/UCLA/North Carolina. If you think U of A is on the same level as those teams (ELITE), you know nothing about college basketball. Not even U of A homers here will push that argument.
I think the way college sports is going with one and dones, G-League, NIL, and transfers, pretty soon nobody is really going to be dependably "elite." North Carolina went from runner-up to out of the tourney the following year with most of the same roster AND elite recruits. Kentucky has a massive recruiting haul every year and disappoints every year. And you can go on down the list.UA is a top-13 program but I agree they’re aren’t currently “elite” as it pertains to the big guns. However with the way recruiting is picking back up post scandal it shouldn’t be long before they’re back in the top-7/8 range nationally.
Gads, he is such a clown. We might remember this season as the year the Pac-12 died.

That's funny since you were against leaving. You did not think recruiting would be affected and did not care about streaming. What happened to the long distance traveling? It's over. I imagine reports are true about UofA, ASU, and Utah working in concert on an exit. I really hope SDSU is allowed to tag along to keep a CA recruiting link. That would allow Yormark to add UCONN as he seems to want to and make it an 18 school conference. The B1G seems to be headed to 18-20.

True enough. Since 2000, Oregon has been a power. Washington, although not what they were in the 1980s/1990s, has still maintained relevance. USC has been (mostly) one of the premier programs. Utah has been unexpectedly great, thanks to Whittingham. Even Cal and Stanford had runs of dominance. At end of the day the Arizona schools have nobody to blame but themselves. Churning out mediocre to bad football programs for last 25 years certainly wasn’t helping any cause.
We need a Texas school in our division if it happens. That would be horrible.Probably a good thing.
Without the LA schools or starts to put AZ schools in an island.
I too would like to see someone like SDSU jump with them.
I'm not sure if future big 12 has an existing pair with the credibility of UW & Oregon, but I'm not sure if future Pac 12 has them either........
There is a basis for a pretty solid regional division that could be entertaining with ASU, UA, BYU, Utah, Colorado
I saw this on a different board and I don't think it looks terrible
Just too bad the PAC couldn't get their media right and be more aggressive to shore up and expand their conference earlier

Does Oregon sign the 99 year GOR? They just want a temp landing spot until the B1G comes calling.Hearing Utah might be left at the altar and Oregon might slip in at the last moment.
Tech and TCU make sense, but alternatively I could see a pod system. We need a Texas school in our division if it happens. That would be horrible.
