Make that double WOW!
From their own four yard line to Nebraska's six with two running plays.

Four plays ninety six yards, TD!

USC 6, Nebrasks 0

Musburger keeps calling John David Booty, "John David". Is he afraid he will be fined by the FCC if he calls him "Booty". :D

What a sick, sick running game!

They don't need great running backs with the way that line is blocking. Some of those holes were unbelievable.

It went they way I thought it would until the middle of the 2nd quarter, and then USC just completely took the crowd out of it.

You could drive a 53' semi through those holes.

The scary thing is USC's 2 best RB's aren't currently playing, Joe McKnight the heralded freshman, and Marc Tyler(son of Wendell). Tyler broke his leg, he's just running now I don't know what the timetable is on him.

McKnight sprained a knee, he's been practicing but I don't think he's played yet in any meaningful action he has only 7 carries. Both those guys are expected to push for the job next year. In fact many USC fans thought Stafon Johnson, not Moody, was going to be the first RB to transfer out to get more playing time.

That OL is loaded again the holes are huge, but Johnson looked like the best RB in that game.

I agree that USC has great talent along the line and at RB, but a caveat to that is Nebraska's o-line and d-line are not that good.

Having watched them up close I can tell you that the thing that struck me (and the coaches I was with) is that they are huge, lumbering, and slow. They have a hard time getting off blocks and have a hell of ahrd time with speed on both sides of the ball.

Not downplaying USC's dominance, but I think they will have a harder time against Cal then they did against Nebraska...

The announcers, during the game, were talking about how Callahan had shifted to faster, quicker linemen than Nebraska had in the past. Still, USC's talent will make a lot of teams look "lumbering".

If they played Cal Saturday it would be a demolition. Cal currently has zero healthy starters on the DL. They had one starter out last week and lost 2 more in the game. One starter might return this week they're not sure, the other 2 had MRI's and it hasn't been released yet how long they're out.
I keep saying it I think Cal is in for some trouble this year, Longshore had better get it going because their defense isn't good and with the injuries will get worse quick.

I am not a follower of Cal, so I will agree with your assesment. I was just pointing out that Nebraska gave USC very little challange along the line of scrimmage..

Nebraska will win their side of the Big 12 again, then get their ass handed to the vs Oklahoma imo.

Maybe, but I dont buy it. At least not yet. Maybe that is his plan but that offensive line is huge and not agile at all. Both sides of the ball still have a problem with speed.
