USC, three turnovers in the first half, numerous injuries, two starting olinemen out.
Washington playing a good game so far, hanging in as best they can. Locker looks very good.

:biglaugh:

As I'm typing this USC marches down the field in two plays.

17, 14, USC at the half.

USC made just a ton of errors in this game. They are fortunate to survive them, after all of the upsets today. Really sloppy.

On the other hand, Willingham is doing a good job up there in Seattle.

I have to get on Willingham a bit for this one. USC continually tried to hand him the game. It was crystal clear that Locker was locked in passing the ball early, and that USC was caught off guard by it. Instead of continue with that gameplan, Willingham went into a shell and got conservative. What happened when it was also crystal clear that they had become too one dimensional? Locker was out of rhythm, and was unable to recapture his passing success of early on.

Ugh. I really was hoping for USC to go down. Oh well.

I'm not a USC homer by any means. I would have loved to see them lose.

They suffered a lot of big injuries early in the game and still prevailed.
Sloppy? Yeah.

Ridiculous amount of penalties for the Trojans tonight, made the game much closer than it should have been. Regardless, the Huskies put up a good fight, just not good enough...maybe next year puppies.

FIGHT ON TROJANS!!!!!

Yeah!

USC is winning with Defense and a great OL. They could put virtually anybody back there at RB and run the ball that OL is so good.
