Joe Schad, of ESPN.com, reports Souther California WR Dwayne Jarrett has reportedly selected an agent and will announce that he is entering the 2007 NFL Draft, according to two sources. Jarrett will announce his decision at a 2 p.m. news conference at the school's Heritage Hall Wednesday, Jan. 10.

I keep hoping that Gaither and especially Jake Long will go into the draft. I would rather have Long than Joe Thomas.

Just because someone declares that won't be top five doesn't mean it doesn't help us; it means our second round pick gets that much better.

My opinion is that Jarrett will be a bust in the NFL. I do not think he posesses the mental qualities to be a successful player at the next level. Good luck to him, in any case.

I keep hoping that Gaither and especially Jake Long will go into the draft. I would rather have Long than Joe Thomas.

Going by their 2 bowl games, Long doesn't compare to Thomas. Thomas handled everything thrown at him while Long was beaten quite often by USC.

Actually I've heard different in Gaither's case. Fridgen (sic) benched Gaither in the bowl game and told him to fill out the petition.

I read yesterday that he declared for the draft, then decided to stay in school.
