Alex Morgan has a new addition to the family.
The former USWNT star and husband Servando Carrasco announced the birth of their son, Enzo, on Instagram Sunday. The son joins the family alongside 4-year-old daughter Charlie.
“Soaking it all up right now. Welcome to the world baby Enzo,” the couple wrote.
The birth of Morgan's second child comes after she announced her pregnancy along with her retirement from professional soccer in September.
“As unexpected as this came, we are so overjoyed,” Morgan said at the time. "To me, family means everything. I wouldn't be here without my husband and my family.”
Morgan played her last professional game on Sept. 8, for her NWSL team, the San Diego Wave, against the North Carolina Courage.
Known for her time with the USWNT, Morgan made 224 appearances for the national team after her first cap in March 2010. She scored 123 goals and recorded 53 assists during her time with the USWNT, winning the World Cup in 2015 and 2019, as well as a gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics.
