Pretty darn good college basketball game going on right now in Seattle.

It was a great game even though I didn't like the outcome. The #1 seed in the West and Stoudamire's POY candidacy just went down the tubes but if the Cats sack up in the Tournament they'll get a #2 seed. I pegged this game as a loss months agao so I'm not too worried. In other news, ASU's tournament chances along with Rob Evans' employment were lost today in Pullman but I doubt too many ASU fans were paing attention.

The game was amazingly similar to Thursday's ASU game, even down to the final score. Everytime one of the Arizona schools would get close, the Huskies would throw in some amazing shots. They also got the best bounces I've seen any team get all year in both games.

Mao, I highly doubt Evans gets fired. He'll probably get an NIT bid and that will be good enough to keep him another year. If ASU does not get a NIT spot, then maybe, just maybe, he'll get canned. That would depend, in part, on Diogu and whether ASU will buy out his contract, which is a problem for them.

I think Evans' contract situation would preclude ASU from doing anything at the end of this season.
