Shevchenko (24-4-1 MMA, 13-3-1 UFC) reclaimed her flyweight title when she defeated Alexa Grasso by unanimous decision in their trilogy bout at UFC 306 this past September.

Unbeaten in the UFC, Manon Fiorot (12-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC) cemented her spot as No. 1 contender when she defeated former champion Rose Namajunas, and top contender Erin Blanchfield.
