For those of you who followed my writing in the old days you may recall the name Dave Te Thomas. Back when I published extensive draft materials one of the things I regularly did was to grade prominent mock drafts. Dave was far and away the most knowledgable guy in the game. He was the who tipped me the Cards wanted Adrian Wilson as Dave was scouting for the Cards that season. He has a new website designed to give fans more scouting insight. I strongly recommend you take a look at the site, especially if you're a would be draft guru.

Dave is rarely way off on a player. He's worn all the hats. He was a scout, worked for one of the leading sports agents for awhile. He had a hand in a company that prepared athletes for the combine. In fact he was highly instrumental in the combine coming into existence dating back to the time it was a different animal held with smaller groups in several cities at different times. He always seems to be around some draft website in some capacity. He'll outlive me; he's too tough to die. So keep searching for him around draft time. He'll always be worth the trouble. BTW he's also an expert on hockey if he's someplace he can take an email.

WELL, I'M BLUSHING!
Dave-Te here, yes, still breathing! You know my motto - heaven doesn't want me & hell is afraid I'd take over. I want to THANK Harry for remembering me. Harry, you had to down a whole bottle of "Focus Factor" to retain such a memory.
I am getting ready to launch very early this year over at;
nfldraftreport.sportsblog.com
I will check with this site's moderator to see if it is cool to post a few links, but we started placing up our preseason grades for the 2017 draft. All seniors, juniors and red-shirt sophomores that are eligible will be recorded. In July, I will start putting up those massive scouting reports, player profiles & from our nutty stats department, every in-depth comparison chart you can imagine.
Currently at the blog, I have grades up for the quarterback, wide receiver, tight end & tailback classes. The rest of the offense will be posted on Monday, followed by the defensive grades, before we begin position analysis & other tons of stuff.
Again, Harry, thanks for "resurrecting" me!

Let me publicly thank Dave for the kind words. I could fill several pages telling you more about his accomplishments. For example he was instrumental in starting the combine (initially more than just one). When I used to do mocks on Rivals I usually wrapped up the draft by evaluating all the mock drafts with a formula I created. My own draft did okay. Kiper was the best of the well-known gurus. Dave Te crushed the competition. He accuracy was unreal. Follow him and I personally guarantee you won't be disappointed. P.S. He's a hockey expert too!

Dave (nflscouting), I'll have a Ruben on marble rye, and a large blended mocha caramel frappacino! (Board rule - newbies buy!)
