Has anyone else played this game?
I remember it was the first PC Game to come out using Valve's Half-Life source engine about 4 years ago. I always wait on PC games because most are buggier than an ant farm when first released, but this one was bad enough review-wise to scare me off completely.
But, I was reading an article in PC Gamer last month and one of the columnists detailed how the community for this game wouldn't let it die out, and how they had essentially fixed the game.
So, I took a shot and got VTMB and downloaded the 4.2 patch off one of the fan-sites.
For once, a gamble paid off!
This RPG does a good job of combining first-person shooter action with Gothy vampire politics and storyline. I've never been a fan of the pen-and-paper version of this game (too LARPy for me!) but the PC version is rocking the house!
