With Vanderbilt basketball's season over, focus now turns to the offseason.

The transfer portal officially opens Monday and will close April 22. However, players can announce their intentions earlier, and graduate transfers can enter at any time.

The Commodores figure to be heavy players in adding through the portal. Three players on the 2024-25 roster — AJ Hoggard, Grant Huffman and Chris Manon — are out of eligibility. That leaves several open spots. In addition, pending approval of the House settlement, college basketball teams will go from 13 allowable scholarships to 15 next season. The roster limit also will be set at 15, however, which may necessitate Vanderbilt cutting some of its walk-ons. The Commodores had 18 players this season, with five walk-ons.

Here's who's coming and going for coach Mark Byington:

Who is Vanderbilt basketball losing in the transfer portal?

G Karris Bilal

Karris Bilal's intentions to enter the portal were reported by On3 Sports shortly after Vanderbilt's loss to Saint Mary's on Friday.

Bilal redshirted in 2024-25 and did not appear in a game. He was a three-star recruit out of high school in Atlanta and was the No. 274 prospect nationwide. Other offers included Georgia State and Xavier.
