We'll use this thread for all vBookie support questions, and since I have one...

I had like 1,000 A$FN dollars, then put $500 into savings just for fun...but now I have 1209 in my checking, 500 in savings.

Was there an additional $500 given to Contributors? Maybe that is where the extra CASH came from? :)

Well, I'll ask here, since Jughead told me to shut up and bet.

Why do we even have savings accounts? Or 'bank fees' on loans or gifts (someone sent me some money to thank me for a post and got dinged 5%, which seems like a gift tax or something) -- basically why do we have to pay a fee when we pretend to use our imaginary money? And where do those illusory fees go to? To the mods? to keebali? and what are you guys going to do with all your 'profit'?

I can understand, sort of, charging a small fee on any bet you place (though it shouldn't be 5%) as the bookie's fee, or vigorish -- and that should go to the person who creates the v-bookie event, not to all you robber baron mods and admins. But management taking a cut off the top of something that doesn't actually exist is just... weird.

But then, so is fussing about it.

The imaginary fees don't go to the admins or mods (or anybody else as far as I can tell). I've never seen a vBookie system with this many little options before though.

Question: I moved 800.00 from checking to savings on the 12th. Today is the 14th? How long does it take things to post? I am assuming I started to accrue interest on the 13th.

ASFN contributors get an additional $1000 per month, or at least that is the amount that they are trying to roll out.

I thought I read somewhere that it takes 3 days for the interest to start. Don't hold me to that though.

I am checking today my account today, and my transfer from checking to savings is still pending. Can anyone tell me how long it takes to transfer ASFN dollars between accounts?

BTW...This is what it says on the page...

Minimum savings of 500 A$FN required for 3.5% interest every 30 days. Deposits require pending time of 1 days before interest accrues, or a 5.0% early withdrawal fee applies. Deposits may be moderated. Maximum savings of 10,000 A$FN allowed. Transaction fee of 2.0% applies on all transfers.

However, my transfer has been pending since the 12th (3 days so far and counting)

Same for me. I transferred $1000 and it's still pending. Also, I didn't get any money when I became a contributor, but for some reason I had $2000 in my account before then.

Looks like my contribution cleared so I am expecting some cash in my account to show up.

Should be a deposit of 1000.00 at least. Do we get a one time bonus of 1000.00 and then 1000.00 per month.

A one time bonus of A$FN 1,000 and an additional A$FN 1,000 every month.

This tells me I should get a bump of 2000.00 here soon.

Who's allowed to create bets in vBookie? I can't seem to do anything in there, I thought contributors had full access?

You should. You create them at the beginning of threads, just like a poll. If you can't, I'd suggest using the Contact Us link at the bottom of every page.
