I have been meaning to share this one with you guys for some time. So i was in Vegas about 6 weeks ago before training camp for one of my good buddies birthdays staying at MGM. We got in during the day, gambled a bit, drank a bit, and reserved a table at Hakissan (club at MGM). Before we went out, i decided to talk a walk over to the Sportsbook and see if there was anything of relevance (i.e not baseball) going on. Sure enough, there was nothing so i put a $20 spot on the Cards to win the superbowl at 12-1. They gave me a ticket which i put in my pocket.

After a long night at Hakissan, a table that cost 3x what we thought, losing my phone along with a couple females phone numbers, i stumbled back to the room through the casino floor. As i was walking by the roulette table i see a sizable ethnic dude with a Cards snap back on, as intoxiated as i was i knew i knew him. I paced back and forth a couple of times just to be sure. He was talking to a girl at the table and not gambling. I went and said whats up, sure enough it was Dwash. Just as i introduced myself he told the girl he was talking to that he plays for the Cardinals because i made it obvious who he was.

Little did I know until the next morning that the reason he didnt tell her who he was previously was for obvious reasons (google Dwash and see what comes up) haha. In other words, i definitey blocked Dwashes you know what.

Anyways, i introduced myself and then left him alone. I walked away and then realized i still had the $20 Superbowl cards bet ticket in my pocket so i went back, had him autograph it to me on my back, and threw $100 on the Roullete table and lost it all. Not sure why i didnt go with Cardinal red!! I told him we needed him back to D-up Jimmy G in the division this year.

The most interesting part of the story was that of all the athletes and famous people i have talked to, Dwash was the coolest. He was ultra nice, polite, wasnt gambling or drinking, asked me what my name was to autograph it, and was repping his Cards snapback.

I would post a pic of the betting ticket but i dont know how!

None the less, lets get this dude back on the field. He was lean. His size was the only thing that made me question whether or not it was him, he almost looks like a saftey in street clothes.

Anyways, what is this guys status? How can they not give him an answer when we have already played a week of the season? This is crazy. He is, in theory, supposed to be back week 5 or so right?

I met DWash at a Blockbuster (lol years ago) in Ocotillo. He was very polite and very humble. Hopefully he can get his life in order.

cool story. I would love to have him back with the team. I don't know what is going on with the NFL front office but they are really dropping the ball on this one. I have sent several emails and even called them and they have not giving me any info on D-Wash

Well, if he would have simply gotten DUIs or only had DV incidents he would be playing. Since he smoked the devils weed (the worst offense anyone can do apparently) he is gone.

Why Aldon smith is playing, Greg hardy will be back this year and etc yet washington is still suspended is beyond me.

If I saw DWash anywhere, I would go right up to him, say "dude" shake my head and walk away.

Good to see a guy with self control problems partying in Vegas too.. what could go wrong?

Behind you
D Wash is a washed up loser who suckered the Cardinals for 10 million dollars and hosed his team mates by getting suspended.

How you have one ounce of respect for him I'll never know.

He damaged the team.

I'm glad he's happy...but with 10 million in stolen cash...who wouldn't be.
