Justin Verlander threw a four-hitter for his second straight complete game and the Detroit Tigers beat the Colorado Rockies 9-1 on Sunday. Verlander (9-3) has four complete games, matching his total from all of last year and is second in the AL to Tampa Bay's James Shields, who threw a four-hitter with 10 strikeouts in a 2-1 win over Florida earlier Sunday.
