Plot Summary: Two young American women, Vicky (Rebecca Hall) and Cristina (Scarlett Johansson) come to Barcelona for a summer holiday. Vicky is sensible and engaged to be married; Cristina is emotionally and sexually adventurous. In Barcelona, they're drawn into a series of unconventional romantic entanglements with Juan Antonio (Javier Bardem), a charismatic painter, who is still involved with his tempestuous ex-wife Maria Elena (Penelope Cruz). But Scarlett Johansson & Penelope Cruz and in one of my favorite cities I ever visted? tempting but then add the name Woody Allen and I pass.

Saw it tonight. Surprised me because I liked it a lot.

Usually, Woody Allen movies bore me. Same old "little Jewish guy can't get enough" stuff time and again, just presented differently.

Radio Days was good too. That's two of his movies I've enjoyed. One in 1987 and one from 2008. 21 years elapsed time between them.

Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem and Barcelona were the only good parts. Scarlett cannot act.

There is a scene in the beginning of the movie where Scar is just riding in a car. All she has to do is sit there and look out the window. She couldn't even to that without me thinking "she can't even do that naturally? Look she is acting right now." Ha!

Penelope Cruz, when speaking Spanish, can definitely act. See Volver. Or any other her other movies with Almadovar.

Scar was dressed kinda frumpy most of this.

Fair enough, I've never seen her in anything but stupid movies. I just don't find her that attractive either.
