Don't know what everybody else things but shouldn't Video Games ether have it's own Thread or perhaps be placed in with Technology? It just seems like Books, Music and Video games is sort of too broad. Not to mention video games also applies to PC's. That sort of content gets discussed all the time in the technology forum anyway. Just my thoughts.

:stupid:

I can understand if video games talk isn't big enough for its own forum, but it really seems out of place in the Books/Music forum. I think the Tech Corner seems more appropriate as well.

I'd actually like to see a separate one for each thing...music, books, gaming...

Because I think it would be cool to have books in their own threads, bands in their own threads, etc. So you can search for them like on the movie board.

:yeahthat:

Those of us that don't read much (/loser) would be SO much happier to have the music separate, etc. Could they each have their own sub-forum?

The three really should be split (although I'm a much bigger fan of individual forums than subforums, for what that's worth).

Me too, but the idea of having forums where specific bands, books or games can be talked about like the movie forum is highly appealing.

Sometimes, individual forums are perfect..and this is that case.

Well then at the very least I would like to see the category of games be more aligned with the audience of the Tech Forum. I think Video games and Tech is more logical then having it with Music and Books.

Actually I would love to have a Home Theater, Video Games forum. That would be my first choice. I would think with all of the talk about DVD's, HDTV's and video games, that would generate more then enough traffic to justify. You wouldn't have to worry about sub forums and there are enough threads already about these topics that it would clean up the ton of threads in the forums that are too general.
