Boone County High School Athlete of the Week
Abadi placed first in javelin for Tolton boys track and field at the Centralia Invitational with a mark of 51.49 meters.
Abell placed first in pole vault for Hallsville girls track and field at the Centralia Invitational with a mark of 2.9 meters. She also placed first in the event at the South Callaway Invitational with a mark of 2.92 meters.

Amoah-Owusu placed first in triple jump for Rock Bridge boys track and field at the Eastern Relays with a mark of 14.26 meters.
Asbury placed first in the 300-meter hurdles for Centralia girls track and field at the Centralia Invitational with a time of 51.14 seconds.
Baumgartner placed first for Southern Boone boys golf at the Southern Boone Boone Classic tournament.
Beard placed first in pole vault for Centralia boys track and field at both the Centralia and McCush Invite with winning marks of 3.94 and 3.78 meters.
Bodine placed first in pole vault for Centralia girls track and field at the McCush Invite with a mark of 2.44 meters.
Bohlmeyer placed first in triple jump for Centralia girls track and field at the Centralia Invitational with a mark of 9.50 meters.
Bostick placed first in the 1600-meter run for Centralia boys track and field at the Centralia Invitational, with a time of 4:50.94.
Bryson placed first in high jump for Centralia boys track and field at the McCush Invite with a mark of 1.83 meters.
Caldwell went 4-for-5 with five RBI’s in a 14-9 win over Higbee. Robinson went 3-for-3, while Freeman added two more hits and RBI’s at two at-bats.
Cottone placed first in the 1600-meter run for Tolton girls track and field at the Centralia Invitational with a time of 5:20.22.
Crane placed first in the pentathlon long jump for Harrisburg girls track and field at the Licklider Relays with a mark of 4.93 meters.
Crump placed first in triple jump for Battle boys track and field at the Winnetonka Invite with a mark of 13.06 meters.
Erisman placed first in long jump for Centralia girls track and field at the Centralia Invitational with a mark of 4.72 meters.
Ford collected a team-high four RBI’s for Centralia baseball in its 18-16 win over Mexico. Bohlmeyer had a team-high two RBI’s in a 6-2 win against Cameron, while Gehring went 3-for-4 in a 4-1 victory versus Maryville.

Frost went 2-for-3 with three RBI’s for Tolton baseball in its 12-2 victory over Lutheran St. Charles. Ball drove three more runs in a 12-9 win against Booneville.
In a 4-0 win over Jefferson City, Manion and Peng each collected two goals for Rock Bridge girls soccer. The two scored in a 5-1 victory against Capital City, while DeRose added two more goals in the winning effort.
Glaude placed first in the 800-meter run for Tolton boys track and field at the Centralia Invitational with a time of 1:59.63.
Hazelrigg placed first in the 3200-meter run for Tolton girls track and field at the Centralia Invitational with a time of 13:20.35.
Holt placed first in the 100-meter dash for Battle boys track and field at the Winnetonka Invite with a time of 11:51. He also collected a first-place finish in long jump with a mark of 6.99 meters.
Jones placed first in the 100-meter dash for Battle girls track and field at the Winnetonka Invite with a time of 13.56 seconds.

King placed first in shot put for Centralia girls track and field at the Centralia Invitational with a mark of 10.74 meters.
McDaniel placed first in shot put for Southern Boone boys track and field at the Centralia Invitational with a mark of 17.02 meters. He also placed first in the event at the Licklider Relays with a mark of 17.45 meters.
Moss placed first in the 1600-meter run for Centralia girls track and field at the McCush Invite with a time of 5:49.07.
Perrigo placed first in shot put for Hallsville boys track and field at the South Callaway Invitational with a mark of 13.23 meters.
Peterson placed first in triple jump for Hickman girls track and field at the Kansas Relays with a mark of 40-6.25 meters.
Reynolds placed first in javelin for Centralia girls track and field at the Centralia Invitational with a mark of 34.75 meters.
Ridgell placed first in discus for Centralia girls track and field at both the Centralia and McCush Invitationals with marks of 35.74 and 33.86 meters.
Rock Bridge baseball went 5-2 this past week. Shulze collected a team-high four RBI’s in an 8-0 win over Helias and three more in a 9-1 victory against Truman. In a 9-2 victory over the Crusaders, Siebuhr drove in six runs. Davis provided the game-winning RBI in a 1-0 extra innings victory versus Eureka, while he allowed just two hits in a 4-0 win against Blair Oaks. In the Bruins victory against the Wildcats, Musick struck out nine in 9.0 innings.
Roop placed first in the 100 and 200-meter dash for Sturgeon boys track and field at the Salisbury Open with a times of 11.87 and 23.99 seconds.
Robertson placed first in the 3200-meter run for Centralia boys track and field at the Centralia Invitational with a time of 9:54.94. At the McCush Invite, he placed first in the 1600-meter run with a time of 4:40.18.
Ross placed first in the 100, 200, and 400-meter dash for Centralia boys track and field at the Centralia Invitational with times of 10.79, 22.65, and 50.75 seconds. He also placed first in long jump with a mark of 6.25 meters. At the McCush Invite, Ross collected a first-place finish in the 100-meter dash with a winning time of 10.95 seconds while placing first in long jump at 6.45 meters.
Russell placed first in discus for Centralia boys track and field at the Centralia Invitational with a mark of 44.91 meters.
Shults provided the walk-off hit for Hickman in its 3-2 win versus St. Elizabeth. Tanner struck out nine in a 7-3 victory over Smith-Cotton.
Spickert placed first in the 3200-meter run for Centralia boys track and field at the McCush Invite with a time of 9:46.49.
Tornez collected a hat trick in a 5-0 victory for Hickman girls soccer against Southern Boone. Young also scored a goal against the Eagles, and scored another for the Kewpies in a 1-0 win over Glendale in the Kickapoo Tournament.
Troth collected two RBI’s for Southern Boone baseball in a 5-4 win over Fatima. Woodward struck out 14 batters in a 3-0 victory vs MICDS, while Easley collected nine more strikeouts in a 5-3 win against Chillicothe.
Viet placed first in the 800-meter run for Tolton girls track and field at the Centralia Invitational with a time of 2:26.00.
Waller placed first in the 3200-meter run for Hickman boys track and field at the Licklider Relays with a time of 10:28.43.
Wilmes placed first in the 800-meter run for Tolton girls track and field at the Kansas Relays with a time of 2:07.61.
Wise placed first in the pentathlon 800-meter run for Hickman boys track and field at the Licklider Relays with a time of 2:06.56. He also placed first in the pentathlon high jump with a mark of 1.8 meters and the pentathlon with a mark of 3233.
Within their flight at the Moberly Invite, Grindstaff, of Harrisburg boys golf, placed first with a score of 79. Harrisburg did win its match against Paris and Cairo a day later. Four Bulldogs collected personal records: Ott (38), Wake (42), and Jenkins (52), while Thornhill collected three birdies.
