The News Herald is back with the athlete of the week poll, but first, congratulations to Will Neeley of Arnold, last week's Florida Power & Light (FPL) athlete of the week.

This past week featured some standout performances on the track during the Arnold//Bozeman Invite 2, where the Bay High boys secured a second-place finish, and the Mosley girls team also took second. North Bay Haven boys weightlifting also saw gold winning the Class 1A Region 1 Olympic championship.

The athletes listed were chosen from coaches' nominations and game performances.

We appreciate readers and fans participating in our polls. Be sure to share the poll with friends, family and teammates on social media.
