There were several top performers across the state in girls high school sports, but only one can be voted athlete of the week for March 10-15.

Fans may vote in the poll BELOW one time per hour per device. The poll closes at noon on Friday.

To nominate a future athlete of the week, email [email protected] or message him on X, formerly Twitter @MikeSChavez.

Nominations​


Sadie Bright, South Panola: Bright recorded 18 strikeouts and allowed one run after pitching two complete games in South Panola's wins over Spanish Fort (Ala.) and Newton County.

Braleigh Crowe, Lafayette: Crowe hit for the cycle with four RBIs and three runs scored in Lafayette's 14-2 win over Biloxi.

Kam Jordan, Brandon: Jordan was 5-for-8 with a home run, nine RBIs, and a run scored in Brandon's wins over Neshoba Central and Harrison Central.

Kailee Lawson, East Central: Lawson went 3-for-7 with four RBIs and a run scored in East Central's wins over George County and St. Martin.

Lexi Patterson, Choctaw County: Patterson went 8-for-12 with two home runs and five RBIs during Choctaw County's five games played.
