It is time again to vote for the 321preps Athlete of the Week at 321preps.com and floridatoday.com.
The following athletes were nominated for their performances from March 10-22. You will find the ballot at the bottom of the page. Be sure to refresh if the poll isn't visible upon first loading. Voting will be open until noon on Thursday.
The last winner was Ainsley O'Dell of Eau Gallie softball. Find a list of the 2024-25 winners at the bottom.
Coaches and athletic directors are invited to nominate athletes each week. E-mail the athlete's accomplishments for the previous Monday through Saturday to [email protected] by 10 a.m. each Monday.
Here are this week's nominees:
Abdul improved his singles record to 10-0 after winning a singles match against MCC on March 13.
Bohn won singles and doubles matches against Rockledge on March 11.
Gambill finished with three hits, two runs, four RBIs, and one home run in Eau Gallie's win over Bayside on March 11.
McRoy won first place in 110 hurdles with a time of 14.03 at the Melbourne Central Catholic Invitational on March 22. 14.03 is his best time of the season and the second fastest time in the state.
Merritt scored four goals and added two assists in the Mustangs' win over Lyman on March 11. He also finished with three goals and three assists in a win over Edgewood on March 13.
Morris earned a win on the mound after he struck out 15 batters and allowed just one hit in the Cougars' win on March 13.
In three wins for Viera during the week of March 10, Potts ended the week with a three-run home run, seven RBIs, and went 3-for-7 at the plate. Potts also drove in game-winning runs in two games.
Prill scored five goals and added two assists to lead Edgewood to a win over Satellite on March 13. She also finished with four goals and three assists in a win over Melbourne on March 12.
Woulard placed first in the long jump, the 200 meters, and ran on the winning 4x100 relay squad at the Melbourne Central Catholic Invitational on March 22.
