Following Week 7 of WNC spring sports, it's time to vote on last week's top performances from girls athletes in WNC.
Vote for the girls athlete who had the best performance last week. The poll closes Thursday at noon.
Who is the Citizen Times and Times-News girls athlete of the week for April 6-12?
Peyton Case, Asheville High: Case recorded four goals in a 5-1 win vs. Enka.
Stella Foote, Asheville School: Foote made six saves and stopped two penalty kick attempts as the Blues defeated Asheville Christian Academy in a shootout, 1-1 (2-0).
Kendall Rumans, Franklin: Rumans broke the school record for most career home runs with her 10th home run of the year and drove in three runs in Franklin's 17-2 win over East Henderson.
Sadie Jo Hunter, North Buncombe: Hunter struck out 15 batters, allowing two hits and no runs in a complete game win over Roberson, 5-0.
Kaylee Allison, Owen: Allison tallied six total goals and added two assists, contributing to nearly every score in Owen's 9-0 mercy rule win over Mitchell.
Julia Wells, Tuscola: Wells recorded 20 saves and only allowed one goal as the Moutaineers won 2-1 in double overtime on Wednesday to hand West Henderson its first conference loss since 2021. On Monday, Wells made 10 saves while conceding one goal in a 2-1 win vs. Smoky Mountain
Makena Henderson, West Henderson: Henderson was 3-for-3 with two doubles, a triple, three RBIs and four runs scored to lift the Falcons over North Henderson, 15-5.
