Who should be the Clarksville area girls high school athlete of the week for April 7-13? Here's your chance to vote.
The poll will be open until noon on Thursday.
Last week's winner was West Creek softball sophomore Ariyana Lewis.
This week's candidates are listed below:
Baylee Backes, softball, Fort Campbell: Went 3-for-4 with a double, a triple, an RBI, four runs and five stolen bases in a 13-12 win over Fort Knox on April 12.
Peyton Brooks, softball, Houston County: Went 1-for-2 with an RBI, a run, a double and three stolen bases in a 10-0 win over Harpeth on April 11. Reached base in three of four plate appearances.
Bella Coon, softball, Northwest: Went 1-for-2 with one RBI, four runs, a double, two stolen bases and reached base in four of five plate appearances in a 19-4 win at Kenwood on April 10. Pitched a complete game, striking out nine in five innings.
Zephania Fennell, track and field, Kirkwood: Won the 100-meter hurdles at the Owensboro Invitational on April 12 with a time of 16.37 seconds.
Addie Fitzhugh, softball, Stewart County: Went 3-for-5 with two doubles and five RBIs and pitched a scoreless inning in a 9-4 win over Dresden on April 11.
Addison Jackson, softball, Montgomery Central: Pitched a complete game shutout in a 3-0 win at Jo Byrns on April 10, giving up two hits and striking out six.
Marie Jones, track and field, Kenwood: Won the discus (104 feet, six inches) and shot put (32 feet, six inches) at the Coach Johnson Memorial Classic at Fort Campbell on April 12.
Zyaziah Langley, track and field, Fort Campbell: Won the 400 and high jump at the Coach Johnson Memorial Classic. Ran a 1:05.52 in the 400 and jumped four feet, six inches in the high jump.
Mackenzie Olds, softball, Clarksville Christian: Went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs in a 12-5 win at Franklin Road Christian on April 11.
Cortn'ec Pope, track and field, West Creek: Won the 200-meter dash (27.24 seconds) and the long jump (16 feet, three inches) at the Coach Johnson Memorial Classic.
Maddie Ratcliff, softball, Kirkwood: Pitched a complete game in a 4-2 win at Rossview on April 9. Struck out 12 and drove in the game-tying run in the sixth inning.Went 2-for-2 with two doubles and four RBIs in a 16-1 win over Northeast on April 8. Pitched two shutout innings, allowing one hit and striking out two.
Melissa Sousa-Moore, track and field, Clarksville: Ran a 2:40.99 to win the 800-meter run at the Coach Johnson Memorial Classic.
Maliyah Warren, track and field, Rossview: Won the 100-meter hurdles and 300-meter hurdles at the Coach Johnson Memorial Classic with times of 17.10 and 49.56 seconds.
Brooke Wright, softball, Clarksville: Hit a pair of home runs, drove in five RBIs and crossed the plate four times as the Wildcats went 2-1 on the week.
