It's time to vote for the Guardian Foundation Repair athlete of the week in Knoxville for March 17-22.
This week's list includes both boys and girls athletes with softball, baseball and boys basketball players who competed in last week's TSSAA boys basketball state tournament in Murfreesboro.
Here are this week's candidates
Bryson Allen, Lakeway Christian: Allen was 3-for-4 with an RBI in an 18-7 loss to Asheville Christian last Friday. He was 3-for-4 with two RBIs in a 9-6 win over Grace Christian last Monday.
Halle Bailey, Alcoa: Bailey played in eight games last week and had a .714 batting average, going 15-of-21, scored 19 runs and had 10 stolen bases.
Fisher Green, Halls: Green had a walk-off grand slam in the fifth inning to end it as Halls rolled to a 12-0 win over South-Doyle last Wednesday.
Hannah Hodges, Grace Christian: Hodges was 2-for-3 with two RBIs in a 3-0 win over St. James last Wednesday. She was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI in a 12-0 win Demopolis last Tuesday. Hodges was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs in a 13-3 win over Collierville last Monday.
Lacey Keck, Gibbs: Keck pitched five innings allowing only one hits and striking out 10 and was 2-for-3 with an RBI on Saturday.
Parker Rogers, Wartburg: Rogers was 2-for-4 with a walk off single in the bottom of the seventh to go along with two RBIs as Wartburg beat Oneida, 8-7 last Thursday.
Trey Thompson, Greeneville: Thompson had 19 points and six rebounds in Greeneville's TSSAA Class 3A state basketball semifinal loss to Upperman last Friday. He had 28 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists in the 63-46 win over Munford in the state quarterfinal last Thursday.
Ray'Quan Watson, Oak Ridge: Watson had 22 points in Oak Ridge TSSAA Class 4A state basketball championship loss to Hillsboro last Saturday. He had 15 points and eight rebounds in the 59-53 semifinal win over Whitehaven last Friday and finished with 13 points in the quarterfinal win over Walker Valley last Thursday.
