The Clarion Ledger has looked at the top baseball players in Mississippi near the end of the 2025 regular season, with schools making headway into their respective playoff schedules for MHSAA and MAIS.

Mississippi high school fans can vote now on who they think the Mississippi baseball player of the year is at the end of the regular season. Fans may vote in the poll BELOW one time per hour per device. The poll closes at noon on Saturday.

Statistics were compiled from coaches' submissions or found on MaxPreps, Scorebook Live and Game Changer, and fall back on the Week of April 7 from the Clarion Ledger's players to watch list.

JP Abt, Hartfield Academy: The Jacksonville State signee had a .418 batting average with 27 RBIs and three home runs with a 4-0 record on the mound, 1.56 ERA and 40 strikeouts.

Jack Adams, Saltillo: Adams is hitting .404 with 23 hits, 23 runs scores and eight RBIs, including 17 stolen bases.

Tanner Beliveau, Petal: The Mississippi State signee has a .340 batting average with six home runs and 26 RBIs.

Eric Booth Jr., Oak Grove: The Vanderbilt commit is hitting .508 with 31 hits, 20 RBIs, nineteen extra-base hits, including five home runs, 31 runs scored and 24 stolen bases.

Trent Buckley, Columbia Academy: The sophomore has a .492 batting average with 28 RBIs, 31 hits and seven home runs with 20 strikeouts on the mound.

Dylan Causey, South Jones: The Southern Miss signee has a 4-2 record on the mound with a 1.77 ERA and 53 strikeouts while having a .457 batting average and 14 RBIs.

Jax Coker, Tupelo Christian Prep: Coker is batting .525 with 21 hits, 20 RBIs and three home runs while also recording 27 strikeouts on the mound.

Jon Parker Dees, Manchester Academy: Dees has a .359 batting average with 28 hits, 52 runs and a state-high 42 stolen bases.

Charley Dunn, Washington School: Dunn is hitting .542 with a state-high 47 RBIs, 39 hits with 12 extra-base hits, and an 8-1 record on the mound with 57 strikeouts.

Griffin Enis, Corinth: The Duke signee has a .526 batting average with nine home runs and has scored 32 runs.

Logan Flaskamp, Southeast Lauderdale: The East Mississippi College signee is hitting .526 with 30 hits, 19 RBIs and two home runs, and a 1.20 ERA with 36 strikeouts on the mound.

Talon Haley, Lewisburg: The Vanderbilt signee is hitting .434 with 20 RBIs while he is 4-0 on the mound with a 0.24 ERA and 62 strikeouts.

Landon Harmon, East Union: The Mississippi State signee has a .560 batting average, seven home runs and 34 RBIs. He has a 1.35 ERA with 50 strikeouts in 26 innings.

Landon Hawkins, Sumrall: The Pearl River College signee is hitting .400 with 19 RBIs, 24 hits and three home runs.

Hunter Harper, Vancleave: Harper has a .365 batting average with 28 RBIs, 31 hits and two home runs while adding a 4-1 record with a 1.89 ERA and 30 strikeouts.

Cannon Hensarling, Ocean Springs: Hensarling has a .429 batting average with 12 RBIs and 24 hits, while recording 28 strikeouts on the mound.

Noah Johnson, McLaurin: Johnson is hitting .656 with 21 hits, eight RBIs, 23 runs scored and four extra-base hits.

Jamaurion McQueen, Brandon: The South Alabama signee has a .429 batting average, 23 RBIs, 30 hits, 30 runs scored and 19 stolen bases.

Maddox Miller, Oak Grove: The Mississippi State signee has a 7-0 on the mound with a 0.66 ERA and 63 strikeouts in 32 innings pitched. He also has 16 RBIs.

Foster Meacham, Jackson Academy: Meacham has a .431 batting average with 24 RBIs, four extra base hits and 25 hits. He also has a 4-2 record on the mound with 31 strikeouts.

Cooper Moreaux, Picayune: Moreaux is hitting .583 with 35 hits, 28 RBIs and 10 extra-base hits.

Wiley Mossy, St. Stanislaus: Mossy has a .359 batting average with nine home runs, 32 runs scored and 29 RBIs.

Leo Odom, Sumrall: The Ole Miss signee has a .340 batting average with 26 RBIs, 18 hits and five home runs with 36 strikeouts on the mound.

Jacob Parker, Purvis: The Mississippi State signee has a .452 batting average with 28 RBIs, 28 hits and six home runs while also recording 28 strikeouts on the mound.

Joseph "JoJo" Parker, Purvis: The Mississippi State signee is hitting .500 with six home runs, 38 runs, 26 hits, 18 RBIs and 22 stolen bases. Parker also recorded 47 strikeouts on the mound.

Gavin Parrow, Madison Central: The Pearl River College signee is batting .321 with 18 hits and 17 RBIs and a 4-0 record on the mound with 32 strikeouts and a 1.27 ERA.

Cole Prosek, Magnolia Heights: The Ole Miss commit is hitting .470 with 14 extra-base hits, eight home runs and 19 RBIs. He has a 4-1 on the mound with a 1.15 ERA and 34 strikeouts.

Luke Romine, Hernando: The Ole Miss signee is hitting .436 with 17 hits, five extra-base hits and seven RBIs.

Cooper Waddle, Itawamba Agricultural: The Southern Miss signee has a .414 batting average with 15 extra-base hits, a 0.59 ERA and 76 strikeouts in 35⅓ innings pitched.

John William Walker, St. Andrew's Episcopal: Walker has a .464 batting average with 26 hits, 24 runs scored and 17 RBIs, and 15 strikeouts on the mound.

Bankston Walters, Presbyterian Christian: The Southern Miss commit is hitting .385 with a .579 on-base percentage and 18 RBIs. He's recorded a 4-0 record on the mound with a 2.29 ERA and 64 strikeouts.

Brady Quinn, Taylorsville: Quinn has a .525 batting average with 18 RBIs, 12 hits and seven extra-base hits.

Major Quin, Jackson Prep: Quin has a .421 batting average with 24 hits, 22 RBIs, three home runs and 14 runs scored.
