Does anyone have any ideas how to get rid of this thing? I have done everything in my power to to get rid of this thing and it keeps coming back. I have run a couple anti-spy scans multiple times. They find this and others and usually (not always) they are able to remove them all. Then the pop ups still exist and last night my computer was running close to 100%. I’m beginning to think that this is protected somehow. Thanks if advance if anyone has any suggestions or ideas…

Microsoft's Antispyware should get it.

Thanks for the responses!

I did try MS Beta. It found it and "removed" it. But then the symptoms continued and I would run it again and there it was along with a lot of others. I have run Ad Aware SE, MS Beta, and SpyBot. I ran a couple logs with HighJackThis last night and I'm thinking about just trying to delete them that way. But I'm worried I'm going to delete something that I need as I really don't know what I'm doing. There are some obvious ones and some not so obvious ones.

Try running it in safe mode and make sure you are doing a deep scan.

It has removed Vx2 from two computers for me.

Thanks SirChaz. I did not run MS in safe mood so I will try that as soon as I get home from work. I'll also run Stinger. Thanks for the link. Hopefully one of these two will do the trick.

Thanks again for the help!

I think I finally got rid of it last night. (knocking on wood) I found step by step instructions on removing it from a forum. If anyone gets this thing I would follow the link below. Just make sure you run DllCompare under safemode as it didn't work for me otherwise.

Unfortunately though, my pop ups still exist. One name that keeps resurfacing is TIB Dialer. I can delete it but it seems to come back every time I reboot. Will this madness ever stop?
