Florida Gators star Walter Clayton Jr. showed an incredible moment of sportsmanship after his team won the NCAA men's basketball tournament on Monday.
Clayton had an amazing defensive stop against Houston's Emanuel Sharp, who was not able to actually complete the final shot of the game to tie the game for his team. The defense secured the victory for Florida but once the final whistle blew, fans saw a wonderful side of who Clayton might be when off the floor as well.
The senior guard went up to Sharp to offer some condolences for the loss, showing a moment of humanity and tenderness between the two players.

As noted by Kevin Sweeney, the two players "grew up about an hour from each other" in Florida.
This was a well-earned victory by Clayton but a tough moment for Sharp.
Congratulations are in order to Clayton on winning a national championship.
But an additional round of applause is due for his classy actions after the game, too.
