That's pretty cool. It's interesting to see where everyone thinks a team is ranked. Most everyone has Boise right about #20, but some have them not even ranked and others have them as high as #16.

I wonder what wil convince them that Boise needs to move up? There are plenty or one loss teams ahead of Boise. I'm afraid we will need to have other teams lose at least 1-2 games before we pass them, no matter what our record is.

Pac 10 is well represented in those polls.

Unfortunately Boise is hindered by the "non BCS" status. Plus their schedule is weak so there's not much hope for an "impressive" victory. The Oregon St win was nice but so far OSU doesn't really look very good. Might need to blow out Fresno. Good luck!

I guess holding Utah to 3 points and 42 yards passing in their stadium isn't impressive:)

That's true. Guess they didn't watch the fiesta bowl a few years ago:)

When the only nationally recognized programs in that conference, Boise State and Utah lose their coaches to higher profile schools, i.e. Florida , Colorado, the perception is established.

These same people don't know Utah.

Utah appears to be on a down year. Yes they are 3-2 but the three wins were against teams with a combined record of 2-12. They've been beaten soundly by what appears to be a mediocre UCLA team and a really good Boise squad.

By the way RiverCard, I'm hoping Louisville can get through all their injuries this year and finish undefeated. I really enjoyed going the the Liberty Bowl and seeing Boise play them. We almost pulled it off!

Hey thanks. That Liberty Bowl was a great game. Had to watch it in an airport during a layover! hated to see either team lose - it could have gone either way.

Brohm will be back in a few weeks. I think Louisville matches up well with Rutgers, so if they can get by WVU, Syracuse and Pittsburgh who knows...... National title game?? I can dream....

This whole BCS thing really stinks, especially for schools like Boise. To go undefeated and not have a shot at the title sucks. I'm sure you would support a playoff!

Playoffs would be sweet. I came up with a system a few years ago that uses the current bowls for playoffs. It still has seedings and rewards you for winning your conference. I might do some searching on this forum and see if I could dig it up.

I think Rutgers will lose, and West VA isn't as good as they are perceived to be.
