Chandler Discount Cinemas just opened on the corner of Arizona Ave (Country Club) and Warner.

The theater that the Two Towers in is huge, as big as any non stadium seating Harkins or AMC. The seats are plush and comfortable, my ass didn't fall asleep once.

It is just 3 bucks to get in and it includes a small popcorn with admission.

Drinks are standard 2-3 dollar range but any refill is just 50 cents.

All in all it is easily the nicest and most comfortable discount cinema. I am not one for shelling out 9 bucks a movie. This is cheaper than renting a flick and you can see the Two Towers one more time on the big screen.

Thanks for the tip....for some reason I have been watching The Fellowship of the Ring lately trying to fill the void between August when the Two Towers comes out on DVD and Christmas when the final installment comes out.

I was able to secure a SVCD copy of the DVD distributed to Academy members for this years Oscars.

Actually, considering international copyright laws, no I didn't. :D
