Yep beat me to the post....Warner is out today...Just great.... I hope to eat crow but Leinart is horrible we must win despite of him.

As I said in another thread, the rest of the team has to show up, for us and Matt to have a chance. If the defense doesn't take the game off and we don't turn the ball over, we might just shock this board and the world.

No. We should win this game regardless of the QB. The only thing that will determine whether we can't win it is if we fail to contain CJ and VY...that is their only threat. If our D comes to play, we win. Bottom line, plain and simple.

Shocking the world? Not a chance. This board? That I guess, since apparently ML is the worst QB to ever lace 'em up.

Well, since every picker on the pregame shows picked the Titans after they found out Warner wasn't starting I think it will be a big shock (to most people). I agree we just need to execute all phases of the game and we can walk out with a win.

I hear you. Its not like we have some backup from Iowa State who has never played in a big game or thrown more than a handful of passes in his entire NFL career.

The only thing I'm worried about is that the Titans have all those former Longhorns and we all know what happened last time Leinart played against a bunch of Texas guys. :p

No matter how it goes, there is no excuse for ML. If he can't put it together today we will trade for or draft a QB.
No more excuses. Coach has given opportunities is hopes that he would take charge.
Not yet.

I couldn't agree more. The defense will set the tone. If they don't let down we should be in this thing. And winning w/o Warner will shock all the experts. Remember before the Jacksonville game Jimmy said "put a fork in them they're done, they might not win another game"

Wow how quickly people forget Leinart used to be pretty good what exactly are you basing your judgements on... seriously. You expect a backup that gets NO playing time and very limited snaps in practice to just light up the world... ridiculous. Should be pissed at the coaching staff that fed Warner all the starting snaps this week knowing there was a chance with concussions that Leinart might need to be the guy!!!

Just like a said on another thread, the staffs decision on this should be questioned. I find it hard to believe Leinart is ready or the staff will give him much chance of succeeding today. With a 3 game lead we should let the kid have the whole playbook & let him chunk the rock!!! What do we have to lose?

Many on the board think Leinart even though he hasn't seen much game or practice in 2 years will be lined up melting the board down if he fails today.

Yeah, They're not giving any opportunities. He makes millions for holdinfg a clipboard is is pretty good at it. And each time they put him in the games they have to yank him out.
But it is certainly not on ML.
