So does he still have it? It looked that way to me tonight. I am glad to have him aboard!

I think our season depends on Warner having it. We are not going to make it on our running game and McCown is still McCown and will probably be behind Navarre before all is said and done.

Based on last nights performance Warner seems to still have it but the real key will be our offensive line protecting him.

If you based this statement on last night you are blind as a bat.

He's basing it on McCown not changing his last name to Navarre obviously.

Then he'd have to get a new social security card.

But he could just steal Navarre's jersey.

He could wear that and just a jockey strap and sing "I'm Navarr-EEE I'm Navar-EE"

:D
It's all about the science.

There was one play that his primary receiver wasn't open and he calmly checked off three different receivers and completed the pass. Those of us in Section 11 became quite excited.

A line or two from an article about Warner......

With mainly short passes before Saturday's only touchdown drive by either team, Warner was able to get the long passes in he likes to have in preseason games. And if the statistics don't lie, he has already found a few favorite targets, finishing 14 for 19, for 151 yards and a quarterback rating of 114.1, while spreading the ball around.

McCown looked horrible on Saturday night.

Funny thing is that I was talking to another fan and he said the Cards should do well in pre-season because they have Warner starting and McCown playing half the game. Heck, a 6 game winner in the NFL last season would be playing 1/2 of the pre-season games racking up the points.

Well, that didn't happen and McCown looked incompetent. I fully support the guy. He played his best games when he got the chance after they benched Blake 2 seasons ago and then again early last season. It seemed as the season went on, McCown lost his confidence -- and it's partially due to having none placed in him by Denny Green (i.e. the benching).

Hope he turns it around in K.C. on Saturday night.
