The AZ Cardinals - What can you say?

They just scream unmoving, irrelevance, unseen, unnoticed, completely void of any growth or progression, like a ghost of an NFL team lingering around year after year.

I am sorry, for I know it hurts to hear, but like all of you I wake up each morning excited to see what all the teams have done to improve their team and fill needed holes with big or bigger names, especially the Cards. But each day as I go down the list of teams who made smart and meaningful strides and fail to see even one thing relevant that Cards have done with exception of letting favorite players walk away. It seems about the same year after year. And of course it is always the same reasons.

Some people are great at getting things done, seeming to be always mvoing forward, accomplishing their goals, while others spend their life perfecting the art of making excuses and coming up with so called valid reasons why they can't. The former seems exciting and full of hope, while the latter just seems stuck in a lifelong rut.

The Cards sense of mediocrity seems engraved on them like the sign in every restaurant: "No shirt, no shoes, no service." The word that comes to mind today is simply "boring".

So we signed probably the last, or at least less desired, of the QBs that other teams were scrambling for. Then followed that up with, well I fined it hard to even write it seems so bland and meaningless, another QB that has been floating around the cellars of the NFL for years.

It all just leaves a hole in one's stomach. Makes one simply wonder what is the point? Life is about learning, growing, succeeding, fulfilling one's dreams. I don't see one ounce of that in this team from one year to the next. Yes, there was one little blimp on the Cards' ECG a few years ago which got us thinking there may be life or a reason to live for this team after all. But no, it was of an anomaly.

So, What can you say about the Cardinals? Sorry, but I got nothing else!

New coach from the defensive side of the house, no QBs on roster, tight salary cap...

This was pretty much what I was expecting - we all knew this was going to be the start of the rebuild and it wasn't like we had youth on the offense to build around outside of D Johnson. We shall see how good the coaching is right away and the next off-season will likely be a wild ride when we start with a ridiculous amount of money and idea of the types of players that fit Wilks and Co.

We did not sign the least desired QB. There were two other larger offers for Bradfors & he decided to sign for less to come here. He has the most talent btw.

Sissy didn't you say you were out a month or so ago? Why so you keep trying to talk yourself in to going? Pull a NIKE and just do it! We'll miss the polls...maybe.

It's Deja Vu. I feel like I'm getting ready to go to SDS and watch newly signed Jeff Blake or go to UOP Stadium to watch newly signed Derek Anderson . . . Another one of those seasons. No expectations and a boring team.

I was about to post the same thing. This team should be playing at SDS. Sad that Fitz will be going full circle in his final season.

Who believes Bradford had two better offers? Let alone one? Laughable! That's only leaked to make us feel better. Among all available options Bradford has to be the worst. Keim's final chance in my book is to draft a QB early. No excuses. If we go into this season with no young QB to take over midaway through the season or at least in 2019, I'm done with Keim! Could as well have signed Glennon, Stanton and Gabbert and play for the 2019 1st overall pick. With Bradford I neither see us tanking nor winning a playoff game. It's like the ghost of Jeff Fisher appropriated Keim!

What are you going to do if Bradford is the bridge, and (yikes) Glennon is the QBOTF?

I think the Cards stick with their BPA (or whatever you want to call SK's draft philosophy). If that guy is a QB at #15, Cards take 'em. If not, we'll get another redshirt 1st round pick to sit the bench for the year.

As it stands, hope that Bradford is the next career resurrection behind Warner and Palmer . . . with Glennon the next Stanton.

You need to go back and reread that that was contingent on Cards continuing to be 'Cardinals' through FA and draft. They are fulfilling that as expected, if not better.

One move alone says it all - paying Bradford with the money that should have been Honey Badgers. Need I say more. The word inbreds come to mind.

Salary cap was so tight that they spent $20 million a year on a QB who'll break his hand opening a water bottle.

Jeff Blake...or David Kreig...or Shaun King...or Boomer Esiason...or Dave Brown...or Kent Graham...you're right, this is 1990-1997 all over again.

If they're not going QB in this round, even if it means moving up, then I'd rather trade down for more picks. This team has more holes than Augusta right now. But if they take another offensive lineman at #15, I'm going to fly out to Glendale and throat punch Keim.

Might be a bit of an overreaction since it's day one of free agency and there's still the draft, but my guess is that we're in for some lean times. I'm predicting another first round bust (probably an offensive lineman) and a second or third round QB that won't be any good. Oh well, see you all later. I gotta go throw out my Mathieu jersey.

Hey Jeff Blake threw a bunch of touchdowns to a rookie named Anquan Boldin in his debut game. So.....that was fun. Ok, I’ve got nothing.

Wonder how people will feel next off season when the Cards have upwards of $100mil in cap space to spend?

Rather than moan about this one, why not anticipate who they might sign next spring.
