The Golden State Warriors continue to take the necessary steps on their road to an NBA title, with Stephen Curry leading the way.

Golden State picked up a win over the Houston Rockets in Game 3 of their first-round playoff series.

A 104-93 win over the Rockets helped the Warriors earn a 2-1 first-round series lead. Before Game 3, Golden State won Game 1 and lost Game 2 of the series.

After their most recent matchup at the Chase Center, the social media account of the Warriors posted a historic note on Curry.

Curry is on a prestigious list with several NBA legends who have scored 30 or more points in 60 or more career playoff games.

"Players with 60 or more career playoff games of 30+ points: LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Jerry West, Elgin Baylor and Stephen Curry," posted the official social media account of the Golden State Warriors.

In the Warriors' Game 3 victory, which Golden State highlighted on social media, Curry recorded 36 points, seven rebounds and nine assists.

Before then, Curry posted 31 points, six rebounds and three assists in Game 1 and 20 points, five rebounds and nine assists in Game 2 of the first-round series.

Throughout the season, Curry has averaged 24.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game.

Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors will be back on the court on Monday at 10 p.m. ET. They'll play one more game before traveling back to Houston for Game 5 of the first-round series.
