After a 6-1 homestand, the Golden State Warriors had a rocking start to their six-game road swing. With Steph Curry sidelined due to a pelvic contusion, the Warriors have dropped back-to-back games to struggling Eastern Conference opponents. Despite losses to the Atlanta Hawks and Miami Heat to start the week, the Warriors were able to sneak into the latest set of NBA power rankings from ESPN.

After sitting at No. 8 last week, the Warriors fell one spot to No. 9 for the week of March 23 in ESPN's weekly NBA power rankings. The Warriors sit behind the Memphis Grizzlies in the rankings. The Minnesota Timberwolves round out the top 10 in the rankings.

Following their back-to-back losses, the Warriors hold a 41-31 record and are sitting in the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference. Despite sitting at No. 6, the Los Angeles Clippers and Minnesota Timberwolves are closely trailing the Warriors by 0.5 games in the standings. With only 10 games remaining in the regular season, each game down the stretch could impact the Golden State's playoff standings.

The Warriors still have four games remaining on their road trip, starting on Friday against the New Orleans Pelicans. The Warriors will wrap up their road swing against the San Antonio Spurs, Grizzlies and Los Angeles Lakers. Following their current road trip, the Warriors only play two more road games for the rest of the regular season.
