Philadelphia 76ers star Paul George has dealt with a lot of criticisms throughout his career, but he has had one productive season after another on the basketball court since entering the league in 2010.
The No. 10 pick of that draft of the Indiana Pacers out of Fresno State, George has played 15 seasons in the NBA with career averages of 20.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists while shooting 44% from the floor and 38.3% from deep. He has been named an All-Star nine times, has made an All-NBA six times, and made an All-Defensive Team four times.
His first season with the Sixers was a disappointment, but there is no denying the great things he has done in his career. Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green came forward with a Hall of Fame case for George:
For the record, George does have 18,697 career points. He finished third in the MVP voting in the 2018-19 season with the Oklahoma City Thunder and has been a fantastic player on both ends of the floor. Maybe he will make the Hall of Fame. Maybe he doesn't. Either way, it doesn't change the fact that he has been a phenomenal player in his career.

I say 1,000%. Paul George got like nine All-Star appearances. He got several All-NBA appearances. He has a gold medal, somewhere close to 20,000 points, I'm sure, if not more. I'm not sure exactly how many he got, but if you look at some of the people that are in the Hall of Fame, Paul George had better careers than them. Paul George is absolutely a first ballot Hall of Famer with the body of work that he has. Are there some things you don't like about Paul George? Of course. You can say he didn't win. You can say, ‘Oh, he was a little soft.’ You can say whatever you want. You can say whatever you want to say.
Draymond says that if people removed Paul George’s name and the negative feelings attached to him, they’d see he’s a first-ballot Hall of Famer
