With the return of Jonathan Kuminga, the Golden State Warriors are inching closer to being at full strength for the stretch run of the regular season. However, the Warriors are still missing a key guard in the backcourt rotation. On Saturday when the Warriors host the New York Knicks at San Francisco's Chase Center, Brandin Podziemski will miss his fourth consecutive game due to a back injury.

In the opening minute of the Warriors' win over the Brooklyn Nets to close a road trip, Podziemski exited the game with an apparent injury and was later ruled out for the remainder of the contest due to a back injury.

Steve Kerr said “the target” for Brandin Podziemski’s return is Tuesday against the Bucks. He’s missed the last four games with a minor back issue.

After missing four games, Podziemski's return could be looming. Prior to Saturday's game, Steve Kerr revealed a potential return date for the second-year guard. Steve Kerr said the "target" for Podziemski to return is Tuesday when the Giannis Antetokoumpo and the Milwaukee Bucks come to Chase Center.

Prior to suffering his injury against the Nets, Podziemski tallied 18 points in back-to-back games for the Warriors. In his second season in the NBA, Podziemski is averaging 10.1 points on 42.7% shooting from the field to go along with 4.9 rebounds and 3.4 assists.
