Washington Nationals’ skipper Davey Martinez was clear after Friday night’s loss that the six-man bullpen the Nats rolled with in the series opener with the Atlanta Braves was not ideal. A move might be necessary, Martinez told reporters after the game. “We’ll see,” he said. “I haven’t talked to [GM] Mike [Rizzo] yet but we’ll see in the morning. I’m not going to lie to you, it’s tough having six guys, that was tough trying to put that all together there are the end.” The Nationals recalled lefty Sammy Solis this morning, giving them seven arms in the pen, and also added a reliever to the organization when they dealt outfielder Brian Goodwin to Kansas City in return for Royals’ minor leaguer
