Yankees slugger Aaron Judge blasted his third home run of the game Saturday afternoon against the Brewers as the Bombers tied a franchise record with eight homers in a game. And it's only the fourth inning!
Judge was part of the back-to-back-to-back blasts to open the game against former teammate Nestor Cortes, who was traded to Milwauke in the off-season. Judge also hit a grand slam in the third inning.
The Yankees previously hit eight home runs in a game back in 1939 and 2007.
The Yankees lead the Brewers, 16-6, in the fifth inning.
In his return to Yankee Stadium, Cortes allowed five homers, six hits, eight earned runs in just two innings.
