Fans were given the opportunity to see the Spartans up-and-close on Thursday ahead of Michigan State's NCAA Tournament first round matchup.

The Spartans held their NCAA Tournament open practice on Thursday afternoon from Rocket Arena in Cleveland. The open practice traditionally gives fans the opportunity to watch Michigan State prepare for their first round matchup against Bryant on Friday The Spartans practice included common basketball drills and out of the norm, but was a cool event for fans in attendance to see Michigan State one day before they play.

Tip off between the Spartans and Bulldogs is scheduled for 10 p.m. ET on Friday. The game will be televised on TBS. Should Michigan State beat Bryant on Friday, they'll move on to the second round and face the winner of No. 7 seed Marquette and No. 10 seed New Mexico.
