Well, there was the second drop. Troy Brown owes him some $$$.

All in all, Josh looked good. Showed he can play right up there. Very entertaining nonetheless.

Could you guys imagine if the Cardinals had a QB who could win this event? The team would be awesome! ;)

That's why it was funny. Sarcasm - Alan nailed it.

Plummr won 2 years in a row? He must have had a pretty big lead before they got to the distance competition.

No Jake throw it 67 yards came in second on that round. You guy's just hate Jake cause you want to fit in with the rest of the Jake haters on this forum.

ie RUSS to name a few. Enough on how bad Jake was here. With DG I wish we still had him. DG would have made him an ALL-PRO QB or Jake would have wound up sitting on the bench.

Allan :(

You'd be surprised to find out that Jake did very well in the distance contest both years. If my memory serves me correct he took 2nd place both years. I also remember how surprised to see that Jake was right there with McNabb.

How did he do in the competition where the linebacker is chasing after him? Did he throw it around his back for a TD? :D

Sorry, somebody had to do it. I actually don't hate Jake :p

Plummer memories.

I think he scored the highest in the Longest Fumble Competition, but his best work was in the "Hit the Safety between the numbers and have him run it back for a touchdown" competition."

When he played for the Cards, Jake did a lot better in the distance competition than I thought he would.

But, success in the NFL challenge distance competition does not necessarily mean that a QB has a strong "game arm". Don't get me wrong, Jake's arm is good enough, but to get the ball deep he needs room to step into his throw. And in the competition, you get a running start. He has to have a good pocket, with plenty of room to step forward. While every QB wants a good pocket, a guy with a gun for an arm can wait a little longer for his receivers to get open, because even flat footed (or off their back foot) with pressure in their face, they can throw the ball with heat and accuracy.

How far did Josh throw in the distance competition?

By the way, out of curiosity, how far did Josh throw the ball in the distance competition?
