The Los Angeles Rams have been all over Japan.
First, the Rams recruited receiver Davante Adams while he was visiting the country. Next, defensive back Quentin Lake met with the Los Angeles Dodgers during their Toyko series.
Lake connected with Dodgers manager Dave Roberts, who went to school at UCLA with Lake's father. Lake also went to UCLA before the Rams drafted him in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
This has been a great offseason for Lake after he nearly doubled his salary for putting together a career year. The defensive back finished the 2024 season with 111 combined tackles, two sacks and five defended passes in 16 starts.
Lake earned a role in Chris Shula's defense after a sensational season and should be a figurehead of the secondary in 2025.
