Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis knows his job is up for grabs. He sat out with injury and was benched in 2024 in favor of Mason Rudolph, who turned out to be just as bad as Levis. Rudolph hit the free agency market on Wednesday and returned to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Titans signed Brandon Allen on Thursday, but it's unlikely they think he's the quarterback of the future.
What Brian Callahan really wants is for Levis to be the guy they think he can be. He desperately needed to work on his footwork, decision-making skills, coverage reads, etc. this offseason, so Callahan sent Levis to work out with Jordan Palmer in California. Palmer is the younger brother of former NFL quarterback Carson Palmer, and while his own professional career wasn't like his brother's, Jordan founded his own quarterback consulting and digital platform company. Through his company, Palmer has tutored the likes of Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, and more.
This morning, Levis shared a video to his Instagram story that shows him working on his footwork.
You can hear QB coach Michael White talking to Levis, "Yes, because what you're doing with that right foot, that's the break. Then I'm just going to send the force to get him to go that way, transfer the force."
Seeing Levis put in the work shows that he has a real desire to improve his play and be the Titans' starting quarterback in 2025. Maybe that's what the front office is banking on and that's why the movement has been slow and confusing. Mike Borgonzi, Chad Brinker, and Brian Callahan must have a plan for who is going to throw the ball this fall. Right?
